摘要：For an automorphism of a free group of rank n, Bestvina and Handel showed that the rank of the fixed subgroup is not greater than n (the so-called Scott conjecture). In the past forty years,  their result was generalized by many authors in various directions. In this talk, we introduce some new progress, in particular, the fixed subgroups of endomorphisms of free products, focusing on explicit bounds for their ranks. This is joint work with Lei Jialin.
